Given that an integrated environmental policy is one of the EU’s basic principles, it seems logical that the development of renewable energy should be compatible with the conservation of biodiversity, which includes the local environment, the landscape, the soil and flora and fauna.
Aangezien het geïntegreerde milieubeleid een van de basisbeginselen in de EU is, lijkt het logisch dat de ontwikkeling van de hernieuwbare energiebronnen verenigbaar moet zijn met de instandhouding van de biodiversiteit, waarbij territorium, landschap, bodem, flora en fauna moeten worden betrokken.
