Given the importance of maintaining the highest possible security level, security certificates should be issued by a certification body recognised by the Management Committee within the framework of the ‘Mutual Recognition Agreement of Information Technology Security Evaluation Certificates’ of the Senior Officials Group on Information Systems Security (SOG-IS).

7. verzoekt om een collectief verbod op de verkoop van wapens aan Rusland en wenst dat dit verbod van kracht blijft totdat de situatie in het oosten van Oekraïne is genormaliseerd; herinnert eraan dat de EU-lidstaten volgens criterium 4 in Gemeenschappelijk Standpunt 2008/944/GBVB van de Raad van 8 december 2008 tot vaststelling van gemeenschappelijke voorschriften voor de controle op de uitvoer van militaire goederen en technologie geen uitvoervergunning mogen afgeven in gevallen waarin een duidelijk gevaar bestaat voor het behoud van de regionale vrede, veiligheid en stabiliteit en het risico bestaat dat het beoogde ontvangende land de uitgevoerde militaire goederen of technologie voor agressie jegens een ander land gebruikt of er kracht mee wil bijzetten aan territoriale aanspraken; juicht het toe dat verscheidene lidstaten dit voorschrift al toepassen; betreurt het evenwel dat tot op heden een collectief besluit van de EU ontbreekt;

Is alarmed by the increasing level of internal polarisation within Egyptian society, which is further fuelled by continued violent incidents and a climate of impunity; reminds the Egyptian state authorities and security forces of their duty to protect the right to peaceful assembly, and to uphold security and order in strict compliance with domestic legislation and international principles regarding law enforcement practices; calls for an impartial investigation into all acts of violence, including those reported to have been committed by law enforcement agents, and for bringing the perpetrators to justice; calls, in this context, on the Member States, in relation to Egypt, to abide strictly by the Council Common Position 2008/944/CFSP defining common rules governing control of exports of military technology and equipment, notably with regards to criterion 2 on respect for human rights;
7. is verontrust over de toenemende mate van interne polarisatie binnen de Egyptische samenleving, die nog verder wordt aangewakkerd door de aanhoudende gewelddadige incidenten en door een klimaat van straffeloosheid; wijst de Egyptische staatsautoriteiten en veiligheidsdiensten op hun plicht om het recht op vreedzame vergadering te beschermen en om de veiligheid en de orde in strikte overeenstemming met de nationale wetgeving en de internationale beginselen inzake praktische rechtshandhaving te vrijwaren; dringt aan op een onpartijdig onderzoek naar alle gewelddaden, met inbegrip van die welke naar verluidt zijn begaan door ordehandhavers, en roept ertoe op de daders te berechten; dringt er in dit verband bij de lidstaten met betrekking tot Egypte op aan zich strikt te houden aan het Gemeenschappelijk Standpunt van de Raad 2008/944/GBVB tot vaststelling van gemeenschappelijke voorschriften voor de controle op de uitvoer van militaire goederen en technologie, inzonderheid met betrekking tot criterium 2 inzake de eerbiediging van de mensenrechten;

Supports therefore the Bali Strategic Plan for Technology Support and Capacity Building on environment-related technology as well as the goals for the evaluation and transfer of environmentally sound technologies; asks for the creation of capacity within the UN system to monitor, evaluate and provide information about new technologies to integrate a broader concept of sustainability and promote sustainable development of products and processes in all areas;
93. steunt daarom het Strategische plan van Bali voor technologische steun en capaciteitsopbouw op het punt van milieurelevante technologie en de doelstelling van evaluatie en overdracht van milieuvriendelijke technologie; verzoekt om de oprichting van een eenheid in het VN-systeem die belast wordt met het monitoren, evalueren en verstrekken van informatie over nieuwe technologie die van belang is voor de invoering van een breder duurzaamheidsbegrip en de bevordering van duurzame ontwikkeling van producten en procédés op alle gebieden;

Even though the findings of the evaluation of ENISA indicate that its achievements were adequate or even good, the Commission believes that today’s network security challenges should be addressed by ensuring new synergies between the work of telecommunications regulators and security experts, with a view to making Europe’s information and communication networks more secure. Moreover, these synergies should be utilised in assisting the effective implementation of the strengthened network security rules.
Hoewel de uitkomst van de beoordeling van ENISA uitwijst dat het agentschap adequate of zelfs goede resultaten heeft geboekt , gelooft de Commissie dat de hedendaagse uitdagingen op het gebied van netwerkbeveiliging aangepakt moeten worden door voor een nieuwe synergie te zorgen tussen het werk van regelgevers en beveiligingsexperts op het gebied van telecommunicatie teneinde het informatie- en communicatienetwerk van Europa beter te beveiligen.

Any security product to be used with the system to be procured shall either have been evaluated and certified, or currently be under evaluation and certification by an appropriate Evaluation or Certification body of one of the EU Member States against internationally acknowledged criteria (such as the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation, re ISO 15408).
Elk product voor beveiliging dat met het aan te schaffen systeem zal worden gebruikt, moet ofwel reeds zijn beoordeeld en gecertificeerd, ofwel op het moment van aankoop worden beoordeeld en gecertificeerd door een bevoegde beoordelings- of certificerende instantie van één van de lidstaten van de EU, op grond van internationaal erkende criteria (zoals de Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation, ISO 15408).
