TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

The Commission will continue its work -for example the on-going Commission initiative in relation to the link between the Water Framework Directive and Directive on electricity from renewable energies like hydro-power- so as to increase the transparency and clarity on the application of these Directives in relation to renewable energy development.
De Commissie werkt verder aan een verbetering van de transparantie en duidelijkheid bij de toepassing van deze richtlijnen in relatie tot de ontwikkeling van hernieuwbare energie. 2. Projects of common interest falling under the categories set out in Annex II. 1(a) to (d) and Annex II. 2, except for hydro-pumped electricity storage projects, are also eligible for Union financial assistance in the form of grants for works if they fulfil all of the following criteria:

Welcomes the efforts to diversify energy sources and develop renewables, in particular with regard to the launch of construction work on three new hydro-electric plants; stresses, in this regard, the importance of adopting and applying in full EU environmental standards; reminds the authorities again of the importance of consistently complying with environmental standards when elaborating the country’s development strategy;
