Pursuant to the second indent of Article 9(1)(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 of 23 July 1987 on the tariff and statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff (1), the Explanatory Notes to the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union (2) are hereby amended as follows:
Overeenkomstig artikel 9, lid 1, onder a), tweede streepje, van Verordening (EEG) nr. 2658/87 van de Raad van 23 juli 1987 met betrekking tot de tarief- en statistieknomenclatuur en het gemeenschappelijk douanetarief (1) worden de toelichtingen op de gecombineerde nomenclatuur van de Europese Unie (2) als volgt gewijzigd:

Pursuant to Article 9(1)(a), second indent, of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 of 23 July 1987 on the tariff and statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff (1), the Explanatory Notes to the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union (2) are amended as follows:
Overeenkomstig artikel 9, lid 1, onder a), tweede streepje, van Verordening (EEG) nr. 2658/87 van de Raad van 23 juli 1987 inzake de tarief- en statistieknomenclatuur en het gemeenschappelijk douanetarief (1) worden de toelichtingen op de gecombineerde nomenclatuur van de Europese Unie (2) als volgt gewijzigd:

6. The Commission shall adopt implementing acts to issue technical guidance notes setting out an indicative list of the codes of the Combined Nomenclature which may cover seal products subject to this Article.
6. De Commissie stelt uitvoeringshandelingen vast tot publicatie van technische richtsnoeren met een indicatieve lijst van de codes van de gecombineerde nomenclatuur die eventueel gelden voor de zeehondenproducten waarop dit artikel van toepassing is.

2. For the purposes of paragraph 1, textile products falling within Section XI of Part Two of the Combined Nomenclature set out in Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 shall be classified in categories as set out in Section A of Annex I to this Regulation, with the exception of products covered by Combined Nomenclature codes (CN codes) listed in Section B of Annex I to this Regulation.
2. Voor de toepassing van lid 1 worden de onder afdeling XI van het tweede deel van de gecombineerde nomenclatuur, die is opgenomen in bijlage I bij Verordening (EEG) nr. 2658/87, vallende textielproducten ingedeeld in de categorieën die in bijlage I, onder A, bij deze verordening zijn genoemd, met uitzondering van de in bijlage I, onder B, bij deze verordening genoemde producten met de codes van de gecombineerde nomenclatuur (GN-codes).

The explanatory notes to the Combined Nomenclature of the European Communities (2) shall be amended as follows:

Combined Nomenclature (CN) code for a separate chemically defined compound meeting the requirements of Note 1 to Chapter 28, Note 1 to Chapter 29 or Note 1 (b) to Chapter 31 of the CN, respectively {see Regulation (EC) No 948/2009 of 30 September 2009, OJ L 287 of 31.10.2009}

(5) For the purpose of this Regulation commodities for external trade purposes should be classified in accordance with the 'Combined Nomenclature' established by Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 of 23 July 1987 on the tariff and statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff , hereinafter referred to as the 'Combined Nomenclature'.
(5) Voor de toepassing van deze verordening moet voor de buitenlandse handel in goederen een indeling worden gemaakt volgens de gecombineerde nomenclatuur, die is ingevoerd bij Verordening (EEG) nr. 2658/87 van de Raad met betrekking tot de tarief- en statistieknomenclatuur en het gemeenschappelijk douanetarief , hierna de "gecombineerde nomenclatuur" genoemd.
