It follows from Article 2(2)(a) of Regulation (EC) No 2533/98 that financial vehicle corporations engaged in securitisation transactions (hereinafter ‘FVCs’) form part of the reference reporting population for the purposes of fulfilling the ECB’s statistical reporting requirements, inter alia, in the field of monetary and financial statistics.
Uit artikel 2, lid 2, onder a) van Verordening (EG) nr. 2533/98 blijkt dat lege financiële instellingen (LFI’s) die securitisatietransacties verrichten, deel uitmaken van de refererentiepopulatie van informatieplichtigen voor de vervulling van de statistische rapportageverplichtingen van de ECB, onder meer inzake monetaire en financiële statistieken.

Article 2(2)(b) further provides that post office giro institutions (POGIs) are part of the reference reporting population, to the extent necessary to fulfil the ECB’s statistical reporting requirements in the field of monetary and financial statistics.

Reporting on the outcome of reprioritisation, including estimations of costs and burdens for statistical projects and fields covered by this statistical programme, as well as an assessment of emerging statistical needs, in particular for new Community policies, shall form part of the intermediate progress report and the final evaluation report.

In het tussentijdse voortgangsverslag en het definitieve evaluatieverslag wordt verslag uitgebracht van de resultaten van herprioritering, en zijn ramingen opgenomen van de kosten en lasten voor statistische projecten en gebieden die onder dit statistisch programma vallen, alsmede een evaluatie van de nieuwe statistische behoeften, met name voor nieuwe communautaire beleidsgebieden.

Under the new Structural Fund rules, the Member States must appoint a managing authority for each programme. Its tasks cover the implementation, correct management and effectiveness of the programme (collection of statistical and financial data, preparation and transmission to the Commission of annual reports, organisation of the mid-term evaluation, etc.).
