The EIP interim evaluation[8] assessed the initial outcomes of the EIP, with a focus on the setting up of the Enterprise Europe Network and the impacts of the financial instruments funded under the EIP and its predecessor programme.

3. The EAFRD shall contribute to the aims of the EIP for agricultural productivity and sustainability through support, in accordance with Article 35, of the EIP operational groups referred to in Article 56 and the EIP network referred to in Article 53.

Encourages the Commission‘s proposal to act as a facilitator and coordinator of the EIP-AHA, engaging with stakeholders representing both the demand and supply sides; points out that the Commission should ensure that the EIP benefits all EU citizens, notably those who are under-represented or at risk of exclusion; welcomes here the recognition in communication COM(2012)0083 of the role of the EIP in meeting the objectives of the Innovation Union, the Digital Agenda, the New Skills for New Jobs initiative, the European Platform against Poverty and Social Exclusion and the EU Health Strategy, inter alia, in terms of achieving the objectives of the Europe 2020 flagships;
21. steunt het voorstel van de Commissie om als facilitator en coördinator van het Europees innovatiepartnerschap voor actief en gezond ouder worden (EIP-AHA) op te treden en in dialoog te treden met belanghebbenden die zowel de vraagzijde als de aanbodzijde vertegenwoordigen; merkt op dat de Commissie ervoor moet zorgen dat het EIP alle burgers van de EU ten goede komt, en in het bijzonder burgers die ondervertegenwoordigd zijn of het gevaar lopen te worden uitgesloten; is in dit verband ingenomen met het feit dat de rol van het EIP bij de verwezenlijking van de doelstellingen van de Innovatie-Unie, de digitale agenda, het initiatief inzake nieuwe vaardigheden voor nieuwe banen, het Europees platform tegen armoede en sociale uitsluiting en de gezondheidsstrategie van de EU, in mededeling COM(2012)0083 erkend wordt;
