TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

The EGF enables the Union to show solidarity towards workers made redundant as a result of major structural changes in world trade patterns due to globalisation and global financial and economic crises, and can also support beneficiaries in small labour markets or in exceptional circumstances, in particular with regard to collective applications involving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), even if the number of redundancies is below the normal threshold for mobilisation of the EGF.
Het EFG stelt de Unie in staat solidariteit te tonen met werknemers die werkloos zijn geworden als gevolg van uit de globalisering voortvloeiende grote structurele veranderingen in de wereldhandelspatronen en wereldwijde economische en financiële crises, en kan ook steun verlenen aan begunstigden op kleine arbeidsmarkten of in uitzonderlijke omstandigheden, met name ten aanzien van collectieve aanvragen door kleine en middelgrote ondernemingen (kmo's), zelfs als het aantal gedwongen ontslagen onder de gebruikelijke drempel voor steun uit het EFG blijft.

3. The Commission shall implement information and communication activities on EGF cases and outcomes based on its experience with the aim of improving the effectiveness of the EGF and ensuring that Union citizens and workers know about the EGF.
3. De Commissie voert aan de hand van ervaringen informatie- en communicatieactiviteiten uit betreffende EFG-casussen en -resultaten met als doel de effectiviteit van het EFG te verbeteren en ervoor te zorgen dat burgers en werknemers in de Unie op de hoogte zijn van het bestaan van het EFG.

The Member States and the Union institutions involved in the EGF decision-making process should do their utmost to reduce processing time and simplify procedures so as to ensure the smooth and rapid adoption of decisions on the mobilisation of the EGF.
De lidstaten en de bij het EFG-besluitvormingsproces betrokken instellingen van de Unie moeten alles in het werk stellen om de voor de behandeling benodigde tijd te verminderen en de procedures te vereenvoudigen zodat de besluiten betreffende de beschikbaarstelling van middelen uit het EFG probleemloos en snel kunnen worden vastgesteld.

In order to enable political scrutiny by the European Parliament and continuous monitoring by the Commission of results obtained with EGF assistance, Member States should submit a final report on the implementation of the EGF.

Requests the institutions involved to make the necessary efforts to improve procedural and budgetary arrangements to accelerate the mobilisation of the EGF; appreciates the improved procedure put in place by the Commission, following Parliament's request for accelerating the release of grants, aimed at presenting to the budgetary authority the Commission's assessment on the eligibility of an EGF application together with the proposal to mobilise the EGF; hopes that further improvements in the procedure will be integrated in the new Regulation on the EGF (2014–2020) and that greater efficiency, transparency and visibility of the EGF will be achieved;

Stresses that, in accordance with Article 6 of the EGF Regulation, it should be ensured that the EGF supports the reintegration of individual redundant workers into long-term employment; further stresses that the EGF assistance can co-finance only active labour market measures which lead to durable, long-term employment; reiterates that assistance from the EGF must not replace actions which are the responsibility of companies by virtue of national law or collective agreements, nor measures restructuring companies or sectors; deplores the fact that the EGF might provide an incentive for companies to replace their contractual workforce with a more flexible and short-term one;
