5. wijst erop dat het gebrek aan informatievoorziening aan de passagiers een grote belemmering is voor de doeltreffende toepassing van Verordening (EG) nr. 261/2004 en Verordening (EG) nr. 1107/2006; verzoekt de Commissie om verduidelijking van de in de twee verordeningen vastgestelde verplichting om de passagiers te informeren, teneinde te garanderen dat alle passagiers, in het bijzonder passagiers in meest kwetsbare posities, tijdig begrijpelijke en nauwkeurige informatie ontvangen over hun rechten en de procedures voor het aanvragen van hulp in geval van een lange vertraging en/of annulering, waaronder het recht om te kiezen tussen vergoeding van de ticketprijs, vliegen via een andere route of omboeken, alsmede over de te volgen procedures en de te benaderen contactpunten als zij ontevreden zijn of schadevergoeding willen vragen; dergelijke informatie dient uitgebreid te zijn en op een consumentvriendelijke manier te worden verstrekt op de belangrijke momenten van een reis, namelijk bij de boeking, het inchecken en instappen, en moet op het ticket worden afgedrukt;
