Where cement kiln dust (CKD) and bypass dust leave the kiln system the operator shall not consider the related raw material as process input, but calculate emissions from CKD in accordance with subsection C.

Until 1 January 2008, exemptions for dust may be authorised by the competent authority for cement kilns which burn less than three tonnes of waste per hour, provided that the permit foresees a total emission limit value of not more than 50 mg/m3.
Tot 1 januari 2008 kunnen de bevoegde autoriteiten vrijstellingen voor stof verlenen aan cementovens die minder dan drie ton afval per uur verbranden, mits in de vergunning een totale emissiegrenswaarde van ten hoogste 50 mg/m3 bepaald is.
