I would, however, just give a warning that whatever we do in the European Union it should not lead to a reduction in our food production, because that space will be filled by imports, over whose emissions we have little control.

Ik wil u echter waarschuwen dat, wat we ook doen in de Europese Unie, dit niet mag leiden tot een lagere voedselproductie. Die ruimte zal namelijk worden opgevuld met importen op de emissie waarvan wij weinig invloed kunnen uitoefenen.
