It was a visit on a beautiful Saturday morning to the conservatory of music in Victoria to listen to performances by extraordinarily talented young Canadian musicians and to reflect on the importance of the arts and culture as central to the fabric of any society and to the Canadian fabric in particular.

Il s'agit d'une visite que j'ai effectuée un beau samedi matin au conservatoire de musique de Victoria. À cette occasion, j'ai assisté à un récital offert par deux jeunes musiciens canadiens aux talents extraordinaires. J'ai réfléchi à ce moment-là à la place des arts et de la culture, à leur importance vitale pour toute société, en particulier pour la société canadienne.
