Currently, we are involved in a number of consultations with the Department of Energy and, while we develop this relationship built upon the constitutional duty to consult, the fact remains that despite best efforts, the ability of our Mi'kmaq communities to participate and contribute to the green energy initiatives are limited.
Nous participons présentement à un certain nombre de consultations avec le ministère de l'Énergie, et, tandis que nous nouons cette relation bâtie sur le devoir constitutionnel de consultation, le fait demeure qu'en dépit des meilleurs efforts, la capacité de nos collectivités mi'kmaq de participer et de contribuer aux initiatives d'énergie verte est limitée.
