F. whereas Belgium submitted application EGF/2013/011 BE/Saint-Gobain Sekurit for a financial contribution from the EGF following 257 redundancies linked to the closure of a plant of the Saint-Gobain Sekurit (SGS) group, located in Auvelais, which produced safety glass for the automotive industry; whereas the redundancies took place during and after the reference period from 31 August 2013 to 31 December 2013 and are linked to a decline in the production of automotive safety glass in the Union;
F. considérant que la Belgique a introduit la demande EGF/2013/011 BE/Saint-Gobain Sekurit en vue d'obtenir une contribution financière du Fonds à la suite de 257 licenciements consécutifs à la fermeture d'un site du groupe Saint-Gobain Sekurit (SGS), situé à Auvelais, qui produisait du verre de sécurité pour l'industrie automobile; considérant que ces licenciements sont survenus pendant et après la période de référence allant du 31 août 2013 au 31 décembre 2013 et sont liés à un recul de la production de verre de sécurité dans l'Union;

D. whereas Belgium submitted application EGF/2014/011 BE/Caterpillar for a financial contribution from the EGF, following 1030 redundancies in Caterpillar Belgium S.A. a company operating in the NACE 2 Division 28 'Manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c', with 630 persons expected to participate in the measures, during and after the reference period from 1 January 2014 to 30 April 2014, linked to a decline in demand in Europe;
D. considérant que la Belgique a présenté la demande EGF/2014/011 BE/Caterpillar en vue d'obtenir une contribution financière du Fonds à la suite de 1 030 licenciements intervenus chez Caterpillar Belgium S.A., entreprise relevant de la division 28 de la NACE rév. 2 «fabrication de machines et équipements n.c.a». , dont 630 personnes devraient participer aux mesures, pendant et après la période de référence du 1 janvier 2014 au 30 avril 2014, en raison d'une diminution de la demande en Europe;

C. whereas Belgium submitted application EGF/2013/012 BE/Ford Genk for a financial contribution from the EGF, following 512 redundancies, with 479 persons expected to participate in the measures, in the assembly plant of Ford-Werke GmbH located in Genk (‘Ford Genk’) and in 10 suppliers of Ford Genk in Belgium during the reference period from 1 July 2013 to 1 November 2013,

Whereas for imazalil the effects on human health and the environment have been assessed in accordance with the provisions laid down in Regulation (EEC) No 3600/92, for a number of uses proposed by the notifiers; whereas Belgium, acting on behalf of Luxembourg as designated rapporteur Member State pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 933/94, has submitted to the Commission on 15 July 1996 the relevant assessment report;
