Hon. Bill Blaikie (Elmwood—Transcona, NDP): Mr. Speaker, I have been asked to believe a lot of things in this chamber over the years but yesterday, when the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration wanted us to believe that 74 out of 76 temporary visas had nothing to do with partisan politics, that really took the cake.

Bill Blaikie (Elmwood—Transcona, NPD): Monsieur le Président, on m'a demandé de croire bien des choses à la Chambre au fil des années, mais hier, lorsque le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l'Immigration a voulu nous faire croire que 74 des 76 visas temporaires n'avaient rien à voir avec des interventions politiques partisanes, c'était le comble.
