As the President-in-Office of the Council said, the international community is heeding and giving its backing to the Geneva initiative, non-violent Palestinian resistance against military occupation, soldiers who refuse to carry out bombardments and be the instruments of repression in the occupied territories, the Palestinian and Israeli parents who have had their loved ones killed by the army, by Israeli settlers or by Palestinian assassins/suicide attackers and who reject the idea of vendetta.
Comme l’a dit le président en exercice du Conseil, la communauté internationale prête attention et soutien à l’initiative de Genève, à la résistance non violente des Palestiniens contre l’occupation militaire, aux soldats qui refusent d’exécuter des bombardements et d’être les instruments de la répression dans les territoires occupés, aux parents palestiniens et israéliens qui pleurent la mort des leurs, tués par l’armée, par des colons israéliens ou par des assassins/kamikazes palestiniens et qui rejettent l’idée de vendetta.
