In pursuit of the twin goals of fiscal discipline and accountability, I believe we should not burden the taxpayer with unjustified spending, nor should we reward a few companies for importing commodities or taking speculative commodity risks at the taxpayer's expense.
Si l'on veut atteindre le double objectif de la rigueur financière et de la reddition de comptes, à mon avis, on ne doit pas imposer aux contribuables le fardeau de dépenses non fondées, ni récompenser quelques entreprises qui ont importé des produits de base ou encouru des risques en spéculant sur ces mêmes produits aux frais du public.
