This Common Understanding builds upon, and replaces, the 2011 Common Understanding on Delegated Acts and streamlines the practice established thereafter by the European Parliament and the Council.
La présente convention d'entente se fonde sur la convention d'entente sur les actes délégués de 2011; elle la remplace et rationalise la pratique adoptée par la suite par le Parlement européen et le Conseil.

In accordance with the common understanding on delegated acts between the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission, without prejudice to its further revision, the Commission should take into account the objection period as well as European Parliament and Council procedures concerning the date of transmission of the delegated act.
