In the exceptional case that an aircraft performs activities other than a flight, including undergoing major maintenance involving the emptying of the tanks, after the flight for which fuel consumption is being monitored, the aircraft operator may substitute the quantity ‘Amount of fuel contained in aircraft tanks once fuel uplift for subsequent flight is complete + Fuel uplift for that subsequent flight’ with the ‘Amount of fuel remaining in tanks at the start of the subsequent activity of the aircraft’, as recorded by technical logs.
Dans le cas exceptionnel où, à l’issue du vol pour lequel la consommation de carburant est surveillée, un aéronef effectue des activités autres qu’un vol, notamment lorsqu’il fait l’objet d’importants travaux de maintenance nécessitant la vidange des réservoirs, l’exploitant d’aéronef peut remplacer la grandeur «Quantité de carburant contenue dans les réservoirs de l’aéronef après l’embarquement du carburant nécessaire au vol suivant + carburant embarqué pour ce vol suivant» par «Quantité de carburant restant dans les réservoirs au début de l’activité suivante de l’aéronef», telle que consignée dans les comptes rendus matériels.
