Definition: Considerable cultural variations occur in the presentation of this disorder, and two main types occur, with substantial overlap. In one type, the main feature is a complaint of increased fatigue after mental effort, often associated with some decrease in occupational performance or coping efficiency in daily tasks. The mental fatiguability is typically described as an unpleasant intrusion of distracting associations or recollections, difficulty in concentrating, and generally inefficient thinking. In the other type, the emphasis is on feelings of bodily or physical weakness and exhaustion after only minimal effort, accompanied by a feeling of muscular aches and pains and inability to relax. In both types a variety of other unpleasant physical feelings is common, such as dizziness, tension headaches, and feelings of general instability. Worry about decreasing mental and bodily well-being, irritability, anhedonia, and varying minor degrees of both depression and anxiety are all common. 4. Where an application for type-approval for a type of vehicle is accompanied by one or more type-approval certificates of a system, separate technical or component unit issued by one or more Member States, the Member State conducting type-approval for a type of vehicle shall be obliged to accept them and shall not perform, in respect of the systems, separate technical units and/or components which have been type-approved, the checks required by paragraph 1(b).

Lorsqu'une demande de réception d'un type de véhicule est assortie d'un ou de plusieurs certificats de réception d'un système, d'une entité technique ou d'un composant délivrés par un ou plusieurs États membres, l'État membre qui procède à la réception du type de véhicule est tenu de les accepter en évitant ainsi de procéder, pour les systèmes, les composants et/ou les entités techniques réceptionnés, aux vérifications requises au paragraphe 1, point b).

2. Any separate technical unit and any component produced in conformity with the type having been type-approved shall include, if the relevant separate directive so provides, a type-approval mark which meets the requirements set out in Annex V, Part B. The type-approval number listed in Annex V, Part B, paragraph 1.2 shall be composed in accordance with Section 4 of the type-approval number set out in Annex V, Part A.
2. Toute entité technique et tout composant produits en conformité avec le type réceptionné comporte, si la directive particulière les concernant le prévoit, une marque de réception conforme aux prescriptions figurant à l'annexe V, partie B. Le numéro de réception visé à l'annexe V, partie B, point 1.2, est composé conformément à la section 4, partie A, du numéro de réception prévu à l'annexe V, partie A.
