IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Pursuant to the provisions of Commission Regulation (EC) No 298/2009 of 8 April 2009 amending Regulation (EC) No 474/2006 establishing the Community list of air carriers which are subject to an operating ban within the Community (4), the Thai DCA provided the Commission with information regarding the effectiveness of the corrective actions taken by the carrier Orient Thai, as well as measures taken by the Thai DCA to resolve the safety deficiencies detected previously, and which led to the suspension of the carrier’s operations with aircraft of type MD-80 for a period of 75 days until 7 October 2008.
Conformément aux dispositions du règlement (CE) no 298/2009 de la Commission du 8 avril 2009 modifiant le règlement (CE) no 474/2006 établissant la liste communautaire des transporteurs aériens qui font l’objet d’une interdiction d’exploitation dans la Communauté (4), le DTAC Thaï a fourni à la Commission des informations sur l’efficacité des actions correctives arrêtées par le transporteur Orient Thai et sur les mesures qu’il a lui-même prises pour remédier aux insuffisances constatées antérieurement sur le plan de la sécurité et qui ont conduit à la suspension du droit du transporteur d’exploiter des aéronefs de type MD-80 pendant une période de 75 jours prenant fin le 7 octobre 2008.
