When the government makes a decision without taking into account the fact that we oppose the acquisition of armoured personnel carriers and awards the contract, since all members have the duty to look after the interests of the people they represent in their region or province, we ask that the government at least acknowledge the existence, in Quebec, of a company whose expertise in manufacturing armoured vehicle turrets is internationally recognized and that it even go a far as demanding that the contract and economic benefits be split.
À ce moment-là, comme tout député de sa région ou de sa province se doit de défendre les intérêts des gens qu'il représente, on demande au gouvernement que soit au moins reconnu dans le contrat qu'au Québec, il y a une compagnie qui a une expertise reconnue mondialement dans la fabrication de tourelles pour ces véhicules blindés, et me voir même exiger, de façon à partager, si on veut, la donne du contrat et les retombées économiques.
