R. whereas the agreement between the EC and Russia on the modernisation of the existing system of utilisation of the Transsiberian routes has solved the issue of Siberian overflight payments, as requested by the Russian Federation from EU carriers, for flights over Russian territory; whereas the agreement will strengthen cooperation in the field of transport within the framework of the EU-Russia CES,
R. considérant que l'accord entre la Communauté européenne et la Russie sur la modernisation du système actuel d'utilisation des routes transsibériennes a résolu la question des paiements pour le survol de la Sibérie, exigés de la Fédération de Russie aux transporteurs aériens de l'UE pour le survol du territoire russe; considérant que l'accord renforcera la coopération dans le domaine des transports dans le cadre de l'EEC entre l'UE et la Russie,
