It would appear that the Commission and the Council's line takes little account of the methods used to grow certain products with specific characteristics in a specific social environment – as one of the Members who has just spoken also pointed out – with regard to certain sectors: I refer to tomatoes for the processing industry, citrus fruit and also nuts.
L'organisation proposée par la Commission et le Conseil tient peu compte, me semble-t-il, des modalités de culture de certains produits qui présentent des caractéristiques, des spécificités propres à un milieu social bien précis - comme l'a souligné, il y a peu, une collègue qui m'a précédé - relativement à certains secteurs : je me réfère à la tomate industrielle, aux agrumes, mais aussi aux fruits à coque.
