I would like to point out the valuable work that is done in our country on behalf of the civil rights of ordinary Canadians and, in fact, on behalf of people all over North America, by people like James Hoffa, president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, John Murphy, an international vice-president, the Canadian president of Teamsters Canada, Robert Bouvier, international vice
-president and long time British Columbia teamster, Don McGill, Ontario teamster Larry McDonald and the very fine work done at the grassroots level fighting for the rights of people every day by British Columbia teamsters Jure Kelava, Maureen Roberts and

Je tiens à souligner le travail appréciable accompli par certains dans ce pays au nom de la défense des droits civils des Canadiens ordinaires et au nom de tous les Nord-Américains. Je pense à des gens comme James Hoffa, président de la Fraternité internationale des Teamsters, de John Murphy, l’un des vice-présidents internationaux, de Robert Bouvier, président des Teamsters Canada, de Don McGill, vice-président international et adhérent de longue date aux Teamsters de la Colombie-Britannique, de Larry McDonald, des Teamsters de l’Ontario.
