I believe firmly that once the full committee is seized of a report from the Budget Subcommittee, those deliberations ought to be held in public so that members of the Senate and members of the public who are interested will have a much fuller idea of the debate that surrounds approval of those budgets and their submission to the full Senate and of the considerations that go into those discussions.
Je crois fermement que lorsque le comité est saisi d'un rapport venant du Sous-comité du budget, les délibérations devraient se tenir en public afin que les sénateurs et les membres du public intéressés aient une bien meilleure idée du débat entourant l'approbation de ces budgets et leur présentation à tout le Sénat, ainsi que des éléments abordés dans le cadre de ces discussions.
