As representative of the Pensioners’ Party and on my own behalf, I wondered why it is that, if Yasser Arafat does not have the authority to stop the terrorists, he does not resign as President of the Palestinian Authority. Lastly, why do we not speed up Israel’s application to join the European Union? I therefore voted against the resolution.
