In order to improve the transparency of retail prices for roaming services and to help roaming customers make decisions on the use of their mobile devices while abroad, providers of mobile communication services should supply their roaming customers with information free of charge on the roaming charges applicable to them when using roaming services in a visited Member State.

In order to facilitate customers’ understanding of the financial consequences of the use of data roaming services and to permit them to monitor and control their expenditure, roaming providers should, both before and after the conclusion of a contract, keep their customers adequately informed of charges for regulated data roaming services.

Afin d'accroître la transparence des prix de détail pour effectuer et recevoir des appels en itinérance réglementés à l'intérieur de la Communauté et d'aider les abonnés itinérants à prendre des décisions quant à l'utilisation de leur téléphone portable à l'étranger, les fournisseurs de services de téléphonie mobile devraient permettre à leurs abonnés itinérants d'obtenir facilement des informations gratuites sur les tarifs d'itinérance qui leur sont applicables lorsqu'ils passent ou reçoivent des communications vocales dans un État membre visité.
