If Bill C-2 goes forward as this government is so determined to have happen, without real debate, without accepting any suggestions, without listening to any of these amendments, we will see that day, and that can only be described as the most irresponsible action any government could ever take, to deliberately go forward with a policy that will hurt women, people with disabilities and low income people in our society.
Si le projet de loi C-2 est adopté comme le gouvernement y tient tellement, sans débat réel, sans accepter des propositions, sans même écouter ces amendements, nous en arriverons là. On ne peut dire qu'une chose: c'est la mesure la plus irresponsable qu'un gouvernement puisse prendre, appliquer une politique qui fera du tort aux femmes, aux handicapés et aux gagne-petit de notre société.
