TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Against this backdrop, the Community’s Sixth Environmental Action Programme ( 6 th EAP ) called for the development of a thematic strategy on air pollution with the objective to attain “ levels of air quality that do not give rise to significant negative impacts on, and risks to human health and the environment ”[2].
C'est pourquoi le sixième programme d'action communautaire pour l'environnement ( 6 e PAE ) prévoit l'élaboration d'une stratégie thématique sur la pollution atmosphérique en vue d'atteindre « des niveaux de qualité de l'air exempts d'incidences négatives et de risques notables en termes de santé humaine et d'environnement »[2].

In recognition of this, in the 6 th Community Environment Action Programme the European Parliament and the Council decided to identify and undertake specific actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from aviation if no such action was agreed within ICAO by 2002.
En conséquence, dans le 6 e programme d’action communautaire pour l’environnement, le Parlement européen et le Conseil ont décidé d'arrêter et de mettre en oeuvre des mesures spécifiques pour réduire les émissions de gaz à effet de serre provenant de l'aviation, si de telles mesures n'étaient pas adoptées au niveau de l'OACI d'ici 2002.
