The Official Languages Branch, working with TBS program analysts, analyses the impact of institutions' initiatives in order to examine that official languages consideration are covered and optimised. We can ask questions, or even recommend funding conditions, particularly with regard to service to the public, language of work and equitable participation but also with regard to the development of official language minority communities.
La direction des langues officielles, de concert avec les analystes des secteurs de programmes du Secrétariat, examine l'analyse d'impact, effectuée par les institutions, de leurs initiatives, afin de voir à l'optimisation des considérations de langues officielles, de poser des questions, et même de recommander des conditions à l'octroi des fonds, notamment, en ce qui a trait aux services au public, à la langue de travail, à la représentation équitable, mais également au développement des communautés de langues officielles vivant en situation minoritaire.
