I was waiting to raise this point, but when the Prime Minister himself or the Deputy Prime Minister jump to the defence of the Minister of Finance, a well known member of the government, on a particular matter, it seems to me we might have expected a tax expert somewhere, a friend of the Liberal Party, to come forward and state publicly that there is no problem.
J'attendais pour soulever ce point-là, mais quand il est question du ministre des Finances, qui est un député du gouvernement avec une grande notoriété, le premier ministre lui-même ou le vice-premier ministre se lèvent et bondissent pour venir à sa défense sur un sujet particulier, il me semble qu'il aurait été normal qu'un fiscaliste, quelque part, ami du Parti libéral, vienne dire publiquement qu'il n'y a pas de problème.
