The World Commission is mandated with the task of analysing the social dimension of globalisation, and comprises 18 internationally eminent persons, co-chaired by Finnish President Mrs Tarja Halonen, and Tanzanian President William Mkapa.
La commission mondiale a pour tâche d'analyser la dimension sociale de la mondialisation. Elle se compose de 18 personnalités mondiales éminentes et est coprésidée par Mme Tarja Halonen, présidente finlandaise et par M. William Mkapa, président de Tanzanie.
