IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

In the first place, with regard to aid for olive oil, the Commission found that there were such significant deficiencies in the geographical information system for olive cultivation (‘olive cultivation GIS’), used in Greece for checking aid for olive-oil production, that that system had to be regarded as not having been completed in time for the 2003/2004 marketing year (the period from which the declarations of cultivation were to be checked by means of the olive cultivation GIS).
S’agissant en premier lieu des aides à l’huile d’olive, la Commission a constaté que le système d’information géographique oléicole (« SIG oléicole »), utilisé en Grèce pour le contrôle des aides à la production d’huile d’olive, présentait des carences si importantes qu’il devait être considéré comme n’ayant pas été achevé à temps pour la campagne de commercialisation 2003/2004 (période à compter de laquelle les déclarations de culture devaient être contrôlées au moyen du SIG oléicole).
