On 14 September, the Commission received a notification whereby Midewa and Stadtwerke Halle (SWH), the municipal water and energy utility of the city of Halle (Saale) in Sachsen-Anhalt, requested clearance under the European Union’s merger regulation for their joint acquisition of FSA.
