13. Welcomes the fact that, by November 2013, three very different European citizens’ initiatives (ECIs) had met the required threshold; welcomes the planned hearings with the organisers of successful ECIs before the European elections; calls on Member States to promote the right to organise and support ECIs and to implement the regulation on the European Citizens’ Initiative (EU 211/2011) in an inclusive way, by ensuring that they are ready to validate signatures both of their own citizens residing abroad and of citizens from other Member States residing on their territory;
13. salue le fait qu'en novembre 2013, trois initiatives citoyennes européennes très différentes (ICE) ont atteint le seuil de participation requis; se félicite que des auditions soient prévues avec les organisateurs de ces ICE avant les élections européennes; invite les États membres à promouvoir le droit d'organiser et de soutenir des ICE ainsi qu'à appliquer le règlement relatif à l'initiative citoyenne européenne ((UE) n° 211/2011) d'une manière inclusive, en étant prêts à valider les signatures tant de leurs propres citoyens résidant à l'étranger que des citoyens originaires d'autres États membres résidant sur leur territoire;
