As honourable senators may recall, on that day 10 years ago, in the midst of total chaos, the people of Gander and the nearby communities of Gambo, Lewisporte, Appleton and Norris Arm, like so many other communities across the country, opened their homes to stranded air travellers.
Les sénateurs s'en souviendront peut-être, le 11 septembre, il y a 10 ans, malgré le chaos qui régnait alors, les gens de Gander et des localités avoisinantes, soit Lewisporte, Appleton et Norris Arm, comme tant d'autres partout au pays, ont ouvert leurs maisons aux voyageurs aériens coincés chez eux.
