In the Doha Development Round, the plan should be about justice and ending poverty, but it seems to be more about dismantling things to make way for the big players, about getting rid of small producers, who are inefficient, democratic and difficult to control and have inconvenient notions as regards lifestyles, and about assigning each area and each country a specialty in which to work efficiently without bothering anyone.
Dans le cadre du cycle de Doha pour le développement, le programme devrait viser la justice et la fin de la pauvreté, mais il semble porter davantage sur un démantèlement ouvrant la voie aux opérateurs majeurs, sur l’élimination des petits producteurs - qui sont inefficaces, démocratiques et difficiles à contrôler, en plus de défendre des principes inopportuns concernant les styles de vie -, enfin sur l’attribution à chaque région et à chaque pays d’une spécialité dans laquelle travailler efficacement sans déranger qui que ce soit.
