I might add also that the civilian leaders in Pakistan tell U.S. diplomats, “We have to do what they want, or they'll be replaced by some radical Islamists, maybe by the Taliban or something”, which also doesn't appear to be true, from my observation of Pakistan.
J'ajouterais également que les dirigeants civils au Pakistan déclarent aux diplomates américains: « Nous devons faire ce qu'ils veulent, sinon ils seront remplacés par des islamistes radicaux, peut-être par des talibans ou autres », ce qui ne semble pas non plus vrai, d'après ce que j'ai observé au Pakistan.
