Notes the Council’s stated desire to find an agreement in 2001 on the social inclusion programme and calls on the Council to approve its recommendations; asks to be involved in the implementation of indicators on combatting social exclusion; calls for the social inclusion programme to be complemented by a stepping-up of the fight against job insecurity, by a rise in minimum social rights and the introduction of a minimum wage in all the Member States;
