TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

If the provisions of this Regulation conflict with a provision of another Union act governing specific aspects of simplification of the requirements for presenting public documents, and simplifying such requirements even further, such as Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council , Directive 2006/123/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Regulation (EC) No 987/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council , the provision of the Union act which provides for further simplification should prevail.
En cas de conflit entre les dispositions du présent règlement et une disposition d'un autre acte de l'Union régissant des aspects spécifiques de la simplification des conditions de présentation des documents publics, et qui simplifie encore davantage ces conditions, tels les directives du Parlement européen et du Conseil 2005/36/CE et 2006/123/CE et le règlement (CE) no 987/2009 du Parlement européen et du Conseil , c'est la disposition de l'acte de l'Union prévoyant une plus grande simplification qui devrait prévaloir.

In order to give full effect, therefore, to the aims of the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 1681/94 as amended and Regulation (EC) No 1831/94 as amended, it is appropriate to extend that simplification to the requirement to submit a special report under Article 5(2) of both Regulations so that Member States which are benefiting from the simplification provided for in the second subparagraph of Article 3(1) of those Regulations equally benefit from the simplification of the requirement to report under Article 5(2).

In the interests of clarity and simplification, Regulation (EC) No 2808/98 should therefore be repealed and replaced by a new Regulation.
