That is a good thing, but we should not yet look at natural gas as something that is going to get us to the deep emissions reductions that the signs tells us we need to go and where G8 countries have indicated they need to go as well; that is, looking on the order of a 70 to 80 per cent reduction by 2050. Gas gets you part of the way; it does not get you all of the way.
