(EN) The new rules to enable civil servants in the Commission to raise concerns about serious wrongdoing – the “whistleblowing” rules - have been introduced as part of the general reform of personnel policy in the Commission and in many respects they are based on provisions which were conceived in 1998 and adopted by all of the Institutions in 1999.
