Group No. 7 Mr. Rock (Minister of Justice), seconded by Mr. Gagliano (Secretary of State (Parliamentary Affairs) and Deputy Leader of the Government in the House of Commons), moved Motion No. 24, That Bill C-41 be amended by adding immediately after line 28, on page 63, the following: ``25.1 For greater certainty, conduct that constituted an offence under the Criminal Code before the date on which this section comes into force constitutes the same offence after that date" .
