Definition: Symptoms are presented by the patient as if they were due to a physical disorder of a system or organ that is largely or completely under autonomic innervation and control, i.e. the cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory and urogenital systems. The symptoms are usually of two types, neither of which indicates a physical disorder of the organ or system concerned. First, there are complaints based upon objective signs of autonomic arousal, such as palpitations, sweating, flushing, tremor, and expression of fear and distress about the possibility of a physical disorder. Définition: Le patient attribue ses symptômes au trouble somatique d'un système ou d'un organe innervé et contrôlé, en grande partie ou entièrement, par le système neurovégétatif: système cardio-vasculaire, gastro-intestinal, respiratoire, et urogénital. Les symptômes sont habituellement de deux types, aucun des deux n'évoquant un trouble somatique de l'organe ou du système concerné. I would like to say, because I am not sure whether this has been emphasised sufficiently, that this legislative package of seven plus one texts will, in fact, be going at two speeds: there are five plus one on which we will be asked, tomorrow, to ratify the conciliation procedure and agreement, and two others – the reports by Mr Fernandes and myself – that will go to second reading, because they were initially rejected by the Council.
Je voudrais dire, parce que je ne sais pas si cela a été suffisamment précisé, que, dans ce paquet législatif de sept plus un texte, il y a en réalité deux vitesses. Il y en a cinq plus un dont on va demander demain de ratifier la conciliation et l’accord de conciliation, et il y en a deux autres, celui de mon collègue Fernandes et le mien, qui arrivent en seconde lecture, parce qu’ils avaient été initialement refusés par le Conseil.

I would like to warn the Council of the following: If they amend the legal base for this important process again in its second reading, then they are running the very serious risk of legal action from Parliament in this matter.
Je tiens à mettre le Conseil en garde : si, pour cet important projet, le Conseil modifie à nouveau la base juridique lors de sa deuxième lecture, il s’expose sérieusement au risque que le Parlement porte l’affaire devant la Cour.
