Stéphane Dion (Minister of the Environment, Lib.): Mr. Speaker, after the partnership that the member and I announced to the government of P.E.I. on wind power this morning, the member for Dartmouth—Cole Harbour announced that with the province of Nova Scotia we will bring that raw gas to downtown Halifax to displace heat and energy from their fossil fuels.

Stéphane Dion (ministre de l'Environnement, Lib.): Monsieur le Président, après le partenariat que le député et moi avons annoncé ce matin au gouvernement de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard concernant l'énergie éolienne, le député de Dartmouth—Cole Harbour a annoncé que, de concert avec la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse, nous allons utiliser du gaz naturel dans le centre-ville de Halifax comme source d'électricité et de chaleur. Le gaz naturel viendra remplacer les combustibles fossiles utilisés.
