TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

57. Criticises the fact that the issue of Western Sahara has not been placed on the agenda for the 2016 sessions of the HRC; emphasises once again that the Western Sahara conflict is a decolonisation issue and that, under international law, the Kingdom of Morocco has no sovereignty over Western Sahara and is regarded as the occupying power; condemns the persistent violation of the fundamental rights of the Sahrawi people; calls for the protection of the fundamental rights of the people of Western Sahara, including freedom of association, freedom of expression and the right to demonstrate; calls for the immediate release of all Sahrawi political prisoners and, as a matter of urgency, of the members of the Gdeim Izik group condemned by the Moroccan military tribunal; repeats its call to Spain to grant political asylum to the young Sahrawi Hassana Aalia, sentenced by a court to life imprisonment; stresses the need for international monitoring of the human rights situation in Western Sahara; calls on Morocco and the Polisario Front to continue the negotiations which are designed to lead to a peaceful and lasting solution to the Western Sahara conflict, and reaffirms the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination, which must be decided by a democratic referendum held in accordance with United Nations Resolutions 34/37 and 35/19;

Recalls its resolution of 25 November 2010 on the situation in Western Sahara; condemns the ongoing repression of Sahrawi people in the occupied territories and calls for their fundamental rights, including freedom of association, freedom of expression and the right to demonstrate, to be respected; calls for the release of the 80 Sahrawi political prisoners and, as a matter of priority, of the 23 who have been held without trial in Salé prison following the dismantling of the Gdeim Izik camp; reiterates its call for the establishment of an international mechanism to monitor human rights in the Western Sahara and for a fair and lasting settlement of the conflict on the basis of the right to self-determination of the Sahrawi people, in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions;
91. rappelle sa résolution du 25 novembre 2010 sur la situation au Sahara occidental; dénonce la poursuite de la répression contre la population sahraouie des territoires occupés et demande le respect de ses droits fondamentaux, notamment la liberté d'association, d'expression et de manifestation; demande la libération des 80 prisonniers politiques sahraouis, en priorité les 23 personnes détenues sans jugement depuis novembre 2010 à la prison de Salé suite au démantèlement du camp de Gdeim Izik; renouvelle sa demande de la mise en place d'un mécanisme international pour la surveillance des droits de l'homme au Sahara occidental et d'une solution juste et durable au conflit fondée sur le droit à l'autodétermination du peuple sahraoui conformément aux résolutions des Nations unies;

76. Recalls its resolution of 27 October 2005 on human rights in Western Sahara ; welcomes the release of Sahrawi political prisoners by the Moroccan authorities but condemns the continuation of human rights violations against the Sahrawi population; calls for the Sahrawi population to be protected and fundamental rights particularly freedom of expression, movement and demonstration to be respected; reiterates its call for a just and lasting solution to the conflict in Western Sahara, based on the right to self-determination of the Sahrawi people, in accordance with the relevant Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 1495(2003);
76. rappelle sa résolution du 27 octobre 2005 sur les droits de l'homme au Sahara occidental ; se félicite de la libération de prisonniers politiques sahraouis par les autorités marocaines mais dénonce la poursuite des violations des droits de l'homme à l'encontre de la population sahraouie; demande la protection de la population sahraouie et le respect de ses droits fondamentaux, notamment la liberté d'expression, de mouvement et de manifestation; renouvelle sa demande d'une solution juste et durable au conflit du Sahara occidental, fondée sur le droit à l'autodétermination du peuple sahraoui, conformément aux résolutions pertinentes du Conseil de sécurité, notamment la résolution 1495(2003);

Welcomes the release by the Polisario Front of all Moroccan prisoners of war; calls on the Moroccan authorities to immediately release the human rights supporters, Mrs Aminattou Haidar, Mr Ali Salem Tamek and 35 other Sahrawi political prisoners, and to shed light on the fate of more than 500 missing Sahrawis, including those who disappeared during military campaigns;
