(a) subsections 215.1(2) and (3) and 216(6) and (7) apply as if the specified importer and not the constructive importer were the person by whom the goods were imported and the amount was paid, but only if, within a reasonable time after any rebate under subsection 215.1(2) or 216(6) in respect of the amount is granted or any abatement or refund is, because of subsection 215.1(3) or 216(7), granted in respect of the amount, the specified importer issues to the constructive importer a note (in this subsection referred to as a “tax adjustment note”), in prescribed form containing prescribed information, indicating the amount of the rebate, abatement or refund;
a) les paragraphes 215.1(2) et (3) et 216(6) et (7) s’appliquent comme si l’importateur déterminé et non l’importateur effectif était la personne qui avait importé les produits et payé le montant, à condition que, dans un délai raisonnable après que le montant a fait l’objet d’un remboursement en vertu des paragraphes 215.1(2) ou 216(6) ou a fait l’objet d’un abattement ou d’un remboursement par l’effet des paragraphes 215.1(3) ou 216(7), l’importateur déterminé délivre à l’importateur effectif une note (appelée « note de redressement de taxe » au présent paragraphe), établie en la forme déterminée par le ministre et contenant les renseignements requis, indiquant le montant du remboursement ou de l’abattement;
