I wish to remind you that President Van Rompuy hinted at this when, in a mysterious meeting held a week before his appointment to the Bilderberg group, which is not exactly the most transparent group in the world, he announced – and even committed himself to – the proposal of a European direct tax on CO2, which would cause an immediate increase in fuel prices, services, etc., and would therefore be detrimental to European citizens.
Je tiens à vous rappeler que le président Van Rompuy y a fait allusion quand, au cours d’une rencontre organisée une semaine avant sa nomination au groupe de Bilderberg (qui n’est pas exactement le groupe le plus transparent du monde), il a annoncé - et s’est même engagé à défendre - une proposition de taxe directe européenne sur le CO2, qui provoquerait une augmentation immédiate du prix des carburants, des services, etc. et serait donc néfaste pour les citoyens européens.
