Definition: This block contains a wide variety of disorders that differ in severity and clinical form but that are all attributable to the use of one or more psychoactive substances, which may or may not have been medically prescribed. The third character of the code identifies the substance involved, and the fourth character specifies the clinical state. The codes should be used, as required, for each substance specified, but it should be noted that not all fourth character codes are applicable to all substances. Identification of the psychoactive substance should be based on as many sources of information as possible. These include self-report data, analysis of blood and other body fluids, characteristic physical and psychological symptoms, clinical signs and behaviour, and other evidence such as a drug being in the patient's possession or reports from informed third parties. Many drug users take more than one type of psychoactive substance. The main diagnosis should be classified, whenever possible, according to the substance or class of substances that has caused or contributed most to the presenting clinical syndrome. Other diagnoses should be coded when other psychoactive substances have been taken in intoxicating amounts (common fourth character .0) or to the extent of causing harm (common fourth character .1), dependence (common fourth character .2) or other disorders (common fourth character .3-.9). I wish to say, Mr President, that Parliament’s initiative played an important role in this hostage being released and that we must continue to do all that we can to ensure that the remaining Portuguese hostages in Cabinda are also finally released.
- (PT) Monsieur le Président, je voudrais informer le Bureau qu'à la suite de l'initiative du Parlement européen concernant la libération des otages portugais détenus à Cabinda, un de ces otages a été libéré hier et je voudrais vous dire, Monsieur le Président, que l'initiative du Parlement a joué un rôle important dans la libération de cet otage et que nous devons poursuivre tous nos efforts pour que les autres otages portugais présents à Cabinda soient finalement libérés.

132.2 (1) There shall be kept in the automated criminal conviction records retrieval system maintained by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, in a registry kept separate and apart from other criminal records, a record of every conviction for a sexual offence involving a child, which record shall include (a) the name of the person convicted of the offence and the person's address, if any, at the time of the conviction; (b) the section of the Criminal Code under which the person who committed the offence was convicted; (c) the details that describe the manner in which the person convicted of the offence committed the offence; (d) the date that a person convicted of a sexual offence involving a child is to be released on statutory release pursuant to an order made by the Board under section 130 or 131; and (e) any other information that may be prescribed by regulation (2) All the information included in a record kept in the registry referred to in subsection (1) shall be made available to a peace officer who is investigating a sexual offence involving a child where the officer requests such information (3) Where a person is convicted of a sexual offence involving a child, the police force responsible for the investigation of the offence shall provide a record of the offence, which shall include the information referred to in paragraphs (a), (b), (c) and (e), for inclusion in the registry referred to in subsection (1)'.
132.2 (1) Le Commissaire de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada maintient, dans le fichier automatisé des relevés de condamnations criminelles, un registre, distinct des autres dossiers criminels, comportant l'inscription des déclarations de culpabilité de personnes à une infraction sexuelle mettant en cause un enfant. Il consigne dans ce registre, pour chacune de ces déclarations de culpabilité, les renseignements suivants: a) le nom de la personne déclarée coupable d'une telle infraction et, le cas échéant, l'adresse de cette personne lorsqu'elle a été ainsi déclarée coupable; b) l'article du Code criminel en vertu duquel cette personne a été déclarée coupable d'une telle infraction; c) les détails sur la façon dont cette personne a commis l'infraction en cause; d) la date à laquelle la personne déclarée coupable d'une telle infraction sera libérée d'office en vertu d'une ordonnance de la Commission sous le régime de l'article 130 ou 131; e) tout autre renseignement prescrit par règlement (2) Sur demande, un agent de la paix qui procède à une enquête relative à une infraction sexuelle mettant en cause un enfant a le droit de se faire communiquer les renseignements consignés à un dossier versé au registre mentionné au paragraphe (1) (3) Lorsqu'une personne est déclarée coupable d'une infraction sexuelle mettant en cause un enfant, le corps de police chargé de l'enquête relative à cette infraction est tenu de fournir un dossier de l'infraction comportant les renseignements mentionnés aux alinéas (1)a), b), c) et e), pour qu'ils soient consignés au registre mentionné au paragraphe (1)».
