If a manufacturer has several numbers he shall use the one obtained under Regulation (EC) No 183/2005; the competent authority shall, at the manufacturer's request, issue an identification number for establishments registered pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 using the format in Chapter II of Annex V to Regulation (EC) No 183/2005;

3. Without prejudice to Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 183/2005, the particulars referred to in Article 15(c), (d) and (e) and Article 16(2) of this Regulation shall not be mandatory for feed materials that do not contain feed additives, with the exception of preservatives or silage additives, and which are produced and delivered by a feed business operator according to Article 5(1) of Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 to a feed user in primary production for use within its own holding.

Sans préjudice de l'annexe I du règlement (CE) n° 183/2005, les indications visées à l'article 15, points c), d) et e), et à l'article 16, paragraphe 2, du présent règlement ne sont pas obligatoires dans le cas de matières premières pour aliments des animaux ne contenant pas d'additifs pour l'alimentation animale, à l'exception de conservateurs ou d'additifs pour l'ensilage, produites par un exploitant du secteur de l'alimentation animale et livrées par celui-ci conformément à l'article 5, paragraphe 1, du règlement (CE) n° 183/2005 à un utilisateur d'aliments pour animaux se situant au niveau de la production primaire afin qu'il les utilise dans sa propre exploitation.

3. Without prejudice to Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 183/2005, the particulars referred to in Article 15(c), (d), (e) and (g) and Article 16(1)(b) of this Regulation shall not be mandatory for feed materials that do not contain feed additives, with the exception of preservatives or silage additives, and which are produced and delivered by a feed business operator in accordance with Article 5(1) of Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 to a feed user involved in primary production for use within his own holding.

the approval number of the producer as referred to in Article 15(c) or an identifying number in accordance with Articles 9, 23 or 24 of Regulation (EC) No 183/2005; if such number is not available, an identifying number allocated at the request of the producers or the importing feed business operator, which shall be in accordance with the format laid down in Chapter II of Annex V to Regulation (EC) No 183/2005;

all feed has been obtained from a facility which produces feed in accordance with the requirements provided for in Articles 4 and 5 of Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council (1); when roughage or crops are provided to the animals as feed, it shall be treated appropriately, and where possible, dried and/or pelleted;
